1. Introduction
SORE ("Secure Operational Real-time Enterprise") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our customers' data. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle data in connection with our enterprise WhatsApp automation platform.
SORE operates fundamentally differently from cloud-based chatbot providers. Our platform is deployed directly within customer infrastructure, meaning customer data remains entirely under customer control.
2. Data Ownership
The customer owns all data processed by the SORE platform.
All data is stored on customer-owned infrastructure.
SORE does not maintain independent copies of customer databases.
The customer manages all backup and data retention policies.
3. Data Collection
SORE's platform is deployed on-premise within customer infrastructure. As such:
- Business data processed by the platform remains within customer's own environment and is not transmitted to SORE's servers.
- WhatsApp messages are processed through the official WhatsApp Business Platform API.
- SORE may collect minimal technical data necessary for license management and software updates.
4. Data Storage and Security
All customer data is stored on customer-owned and customer-managed infrastructure. SORE supports deployment through Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and virtual machines.
Security measures include end-to-end encryption, role-based access control, comprehensive audit logging, and regular security assessments. The customer is responsible for the security of their infrastructure environment.
5. Data Sharing
SORE does not sell, share, license, or monetize customer data in any way. Customer data is never transmitted to third parties by SORE. WhatsApp message delivery is facilitated through the official WhatsApp Business Platform in accordance with Meta's policies.
6. Data Retention
Since all data resides on customer infrastructure, the customer is fully responsible for establishing and managing data retention policies, backup schedules, and data lifecycle management. SORE provides guidance and tools to support customer data management practices.
7. Regulatory Compliance
SORE is designed to support compliance with Indonesian data protection regulations, including:
- UU No. 27 Tahun 2022 — Personal Data Protection (Undang-Undang Pelindungan Data Pribadi)
- PP No. 71 Tahun 2019 — Electronic Systems and Transactions (Peraturan Pemerintah tentang Penyelenggaraan Sistem dan Transaksi Elektronik)
